Larchmont celebrates Read Across America
It was a special week at Larchmont Elementary! On Tuesday, families and students dressed in pajamas and enjoyed breakfast and a good book together. Classrooms were buzzing as students read aloud or listened to stories like Dog Man, I Survived, and The Important Book.
Read Across America Day was on Saturday, March 2. This year at Larchmont, students and staff are celebrating all week long with reading activities surrounding the theme of "Celebrating Diversity" where they are reading stories from cultures around the world.
