Do you live in the Eastside or South End of Tacoma? The Trust for Public Land wants to hear from you on the designs for Community Schoolyards at Whitman, Mann, and Larchmont Elementary.
What is a Community Schoolyard?
Community schoolyards are renovated and enhanced playgrounds that are nature rich, provide both new and improved amenities, and reflect the needs of each unique neighborhood. They will be open to the public after school hours and on weekends and serve as a public park for the surrounding neighborhood and community.
